THX Tag in Gloria

Ab 11:00 Uhr Vortrag und Demos
Diesmal unter dem Motto: "Perfekte Kinotechnik live erleben". Kinotechnikpräsentation der Innenstadtkinos, moderiert von Frank Schiele und dem Kinoteam Stuttgart. Es wird wieder vor allem Projektionstechnik und Tontechnik mit allen technischen Aspekten des Kinos präsentiert und bei Fragen auch gerne diskutiert. Bekannte und unbekannte Trailer mit verschiedenen Tonsystemen (Dolby SR, Dolby Digital, dts und SDDS) werden gezeigt und deren Funktionsweise erklärt. Die Innenstadt Kinos kruschteln in ihrer THX-Trailerkiste und machen das THX-Trailerrevival. Dabei gibt es auch wieder das berühmte THX R2 Messystem live zusammen mit dem sehr beindruckenden Dolby JIFFY Ton- und Bildtestfilm zu sehen, präsentiert von einem versierten Kinotechniker. Das ist etwas was sich nicht viele Kinos vor Publikum leisten können, denn dabei werden wirklich alle Fehler und Unzulänglichkeiten eines Kinosaals schonungslos aufgedeckt!
